Rain and rust

It might be raining a little early in the morning tomorrow when I head to the woods. What should I do about my gun rusting... should I take off the no-mar tape if it gets wet, and would some Rem oil help protect from rust?

If it's raining, leave the gun at home and go to class. If you don't have class, study. If you've studied, then fill out your application for grad school because this job market blows.

whatever you do don't leave the no mar tape on after it gets rained on. It will set up rust and is a pain in the arse to deal with. So yea get it off there if it gets wet

thanks for the advice.

last I checked, forecast no longer called for rain.

however, sometimes borrowing the parents car because I don't have my own can be a problem when I can't use the car. No trip tomorrow, but I'll be catching up on much needed sleep.
