Rainy day calls???

The rank ur call thread, got me thinking, other than a mouth call what do y'all use on rainy days when ur not in a blind? If anpot call what call/striker combo

If I'm not in a blind, I usually don't use anything other than a mouth call.

Mostly mouth calls but I do have a Quaker Boy waterproof box call

What bout an aluminum call with waterproof striker I have never tried aluminum.

I keep all my calls in zip lock bags or at least keep bags in vest. Is there a striker u could use on glass when it's raining that would work

Carbon on glass thats what I use most of the time. My buddy uses a mouth call effectively together with mine on my farm.

Good time to use your mouth calls. All you need to master is some soft cluckin. Been the downfall of many a smart gobbler.

When I can keep it dry I use my slate.
When I can't I go with the mouth call.

Well I can yelp on a mouth call and 2 out of 10 times i can purr on it but wouldnt try it in the woods bc i dont feel comfortable with it yet so it sounds like ill use my carbon striker on my nwtf glass call if needed.

if its raining a mouth call is all i will take....if it is more then a sprinkle then there is no point in calling.
