Listen. I know it wasnt a good look but you gotta realize this guy is maybe 22, 23 years old. Plays with a lot of fire. He and the rest of his teammates are dealing with this fecal show that is Butch Jones. By all accounts, he is an extremely bright and respectful guy. Pretty good ball player too. I can excuse him losing his cool here. He has since publically apologized to UT and UA. He wasnt even supposed to give an interview but felt like it should be said.

That is rare. He sounds sincere. (and well spoken also rare among athletes)

I thought it was funny, inappropriate sure, but lots of funny things are inappropriate -that's what makes it funny.

After all that one touch down against ALABAMA is probably going to be the only thing the vols can brag about all season .

I can see getting caught up in the moment and regretting what he did. Kudos to him for the humility and scruples to make an apology.
