I am trying to determine where is stands. Good, bad, alright, or whatever. Winchester 1300, Winchester Supreme 3" 1 3/4 oz 6's @ 30 yards. Its kinda hard to tell where some of the holes are so I took a pic from the back too.

that will do.unless you want to go to hevi shoot you will not get a whole lot better with lead.I get 100 in turkey target at 40 yards and am happy with it but still trying to improve on it

Great, unless you are looking for a long range sniper pattern then you are in good shape for killing birds that come to a call.

what choke? i shoot a 1300 with an Undertaker choke. I just bought the same shell you shot. Want to try #6 this year. Thinking about going to a Jellyhead choke. Heard good things about it.

Thats wll work. I always look at the pattern on both sides of the head, too cause we all know how quickly things can change.

That's a sickly looking turkey :D !

BTW, looks to me like his pattern is pretty comparable. You should be getting better than that from those high-priced shells.

Big difference... 30 yards on the post originator and 40 yards with the nitros.

Airman, that pattern is fine at 30, but I'd be suspect at 40... shoot it at 40, but I suspect your max will be around 35 with that load/choke combo.

Sellsman11 was your a 3 or 3.5? Not sure it adds to the post I think you made your point that yours is better. I guess it should be for $7 a shell vs. $1.50
