Okay, after playing around with this and just doing some different design stuff with pinstriping and what-not, I finally did some real cresting. Luckily, I found a willing guinea-pig, my best friend that is an Iraq War Veteran. He asked me to do the green fade and for the cresting I did the Iraq Campaign Ribbon because of the importance of it to him. It's still a work in progress, and it takes practice, but this is a great time waster, while waiting for archery season to open! ;)

just prepare yourself because when my new arrows get in this week i want to use that jig to do some of that.

you may get a break from me though as i have to go to MS next week to train some of their wildlife folks till Thurs.
 
Looks good, you did a great job. I may do something similar this year. Was thinking about using the ARCOM colors though.
