reasons why UT could win the east in 2015

This came off a web site not my words just saying before people jump on my case. But I do think they have some good points fans of other teams will not agree but who cares:)

* they are young and very spot on the field SHOULD be better, including the D-Line, O-Line, QB, receivers, run game, the two big spots people were scared about losses before the season started was QB (Worley) And middle Linebacker (AJ) there both might as well say gone and the vols get a early start on grooming there replacements

* the recruiting, vols have as of now have a top 5 recruiting class including, a couple 4 star O-Line guys, a couple good QB's, 2 Amazing DT. All these guys will not play right away but some will be a HUGE impact to the vols as a freshmen, like Hurd and Barnett was this year.

* the vols don't have to be real good to win the east, Kentucky and vandy well it's Kentucky and vandy, they have had no problem beating SC under butch jones, UF is struggling, and Georgia is gonna lose some key guys. The east is gonna be a coin flip if the vols win the games they should win and with just an upset or two could win the east.

* coach jones 3ed year as head coach, jones has his program
Going the right way, has his players playing with a never give up mide set, Down by 14 or up by 14 his players don't take plays off and play just as hard in the 4th as they do when the ball is first kicked off. His players believe in him and will do anything to make him proud.
 
TN should have beaten FL and probably would have beaten GA this year with Dobbs instead of Peterman subbing.

They may not win the East next year, but they'll be in the hunt for sure...
 
Your right 7 or 8 wins is what I see also but that's improvement may not be a lot but as 7 win season in 2015 and if jones can get another top 10 recruiting class in it would set up the vols nicely to win 8+ in 2016. Like I said didn't write that all that game off the internet off two different sites.
The 1 point on that list that makes a lot of since is the vols don't have to be good to win the east vols are struggling but So is half the east lol

Don't think anyone will have them 4 teams being better then the vols that just leaves Georgia and MIZZ.
win the games they SHOULD win like they didn't do this year like against florida. And maybe upset a little better team at home or something I really don't think 8 wins would be outta reach at all.

Please, don't cloudy the "Vol" fan's crystal ball :D !

The Vols could easily be in the hunt with some improvement at the QB and OL positions.

Just because other fans don't agree and think some of these threads about UT are movies right out of Disney World doesn't make other fans "experts". It just makes it hard to agree and be serious about debating something that isn't reality at this time.

This thread is a good example because UT really hasn't improved since last season and basically got one more win because of the train wreck at Vandy. Anything is possible because even Cinderella had her shoe returned... :)

You guys have fun and I need some of the resident "experts" to give me the lines on some games so I can place bets this week while I'm in Vegas.... :)

Keep telling yourself that (while blindly forgetting we lost the #1 RB, #1 MLB, a starting corner, AND the starting center for this game on top of the other injuries during the season) !

I do believe you used UF injuries as an excuse last year. At least the Vols overcame them :) !
 
Gators were picked to win like 9 games last year won 4 every gayturd fan cried out loud how muschamp was still a good coach and driskel was still a good QB and they would have won 9 if they had healthy players heard it 1 million times

They were pick to win what 8 games this year some said 9?? They won 6 cool. I guess there gonna be picked to win 8 or 9 next year and the fans are gonna belive that right? Lol

You keep saying UT has not improved what has UF did since the start of last season? Besides fire there coach and recruit bad?

Funny how this post had nothing to do about the Gators and I never mentioned them. You guys normally cry foul if that happens but you guys seem quick to play that card all the time. All joking aside, let's face it that FL and UT are not very good football teams. As far as I'm concern FL only has to win one game a year to keep the heat off me considering where I live. I'm not going to get on here and post Disney World Post that the Gators will win the SEC East next year even considering that they placed higher than UT this season.

Considering they didn't get a chance to play a cupcake because it was cancelled, the experts would of been one game off.... Not as bad as you want to spin it... :)
 
Now we see why this Disney World post turn into a debate about the Gators. The OP wanted to put that spin on it but it's kind of funny under the circumstances.

Back to the Wizard of Oz.... :grin:
 
I believe the Vols are about to turn the corner with Jones as coach,it would be nice if we could win the bowl game and 7 or 8 games next year and receive a bowl bid to a higher profile bowl.With the recruits that Tennessee is stock piling it's gonna be a short wait until we are back on top with Alabama in the SEC.
 
Whom ever takes the coaching job at Florida,they will be hard pressed to win many games next year.I dont really worry about Florida being a contender next year but Tennessee will have some competition from Missiouri and Georiga.
 
I am all Vol. They are my team whether they win or lose. Here is my take on it. When they win 8, 9, 10 games per season, I'll believe it. When they win the East, I'll believe it. When they win the SEC championship, I'll believe it. When they beat Florida, I'll believe it. Seeing is believing. I dont think its that far fetched or that far away but until then I'll just keep pulling for my team.

I'll kinda be glad when football season is over with.

In you base this on what???? The way UT has played on the field against FL???? An itch that you once had???? Or you just say the same thing every year?????

Kinds ready for it to be over with only game I really care about is the vols bowl game. I can care less who wins the BCS, BUT bama or FSU are not my favorites:/
Titans suck so ive not finished watching 1 of there games since like week 3.

But I hate January and February, nothing to do lol No football. No good hunting, to cold to fish. Just a long dead period.
