I got my Fire Sights on finally and went to tune it in yesterday. I took 2 shots at 20 with some target loads, made one small adjustment and then moved to 40. I took two more shots with 3" Win Supreme #5s and I swear on the second shot I felt my shoulder socket move a little. Anyways I know you guys are thinkin "Man what a wuss your just shooting 3" shells" but let me tell ya. I converted my Winchester over with a 6 pos collapsible stock and all its got for a pad is one of the little dinky rubber ones that says US on it made for an AR or M4. Could anybody recommend one that would help just even a little that fits the 6 pos stock? Im sure somebody makes one for a 535 and it should be the same thing.

I found a Sims on Amazon that says it is for ar15 and m4 6 pos stock. I gues that is probably the one I need. I thought I would check you guys out and see if maybe there was anything better that you have used.

I bought that Sims Recoil pad for my AR stock.... it just slips over the 1/4" lip around parts of the butt stock.... You may have to remove your hard rubber pad first. I might can take a close-up pic for you tomorrow night if you like.

Sure man if you dont mind. I think Im gonna order it and if for some reason it wont fit on my Winchester I can always put it on my AR. Anything to take even a little bit of the bite from it.

I put a Sims Recoil Pad on my mossberg 835. It made a significant difference.

I did the same for my father-n-laws 835..... made a BIG difference.... hope to help him take his first turkey this spring.... he retired at the end of this past year.

I thought I was the only one who hates his shotgun recoil!
I use a Winchester 1200 pump, shooting 3" Federal #6 Flight Controls.
Verified last years zero yesterday, and even put on the PAST shooting pad. I was shooting from prone (doesn't help), and that first shot at 30yds hurt. Moved back to 40yds, and that shot just about did me in.
This thing is way worse that my .45-70 and 405gr bullets!
(In my defense, I had just come off the firing line for a work qualification with a Remington 870 and slugs, so was already feeling the hurt.)

Wonder what I could get that would fit on one of those tactical shotgun stocks?
