I've always been a fixed blade fan. Ive shot muzzy, slick tricks and the cheap $11 ones from walmart. They have all shot the same and im currently shooting the el cheapos. Ive killed many a deer with them and after one shot in the ground ill replace it in case it dulled it.

Just got my new xbow and the field tips are shooting different than the BH's. Didnt have that problem with my old xbow. Now im wanting to swap to a BH that has the practice head to shoot with it.

Thinking of going with the Rage for xbows. Any other recommendations?

I can tell you this none of them are cheap..... I bought the x bow Grim Reaper and my gosh they must be made out of gold. I sure cant tell you which one to buy I am a greenhorn for sure.

I've read a lot of good reviews and watched some videos on the Rage, Nap Spitfires, & Nap killzones. I too am a green horn and don't know from experience, but of the 3 I just mentioned, I got a good deal on some 125 gr Rage Broadheads on Ebay. I bought 2 3-paks with practice tips for $29.00 each. Brand new Barnett cocking rope for $10.00. And 6 20" carbon headhunter bolts for $46.00 including shipping...there are some deals if you're patient or have some time on your hands...for me it was late nights...lol

I am totally happy using NAP 125gr Spitfires. They make some marked for crossbow use, but that is just marketing. The regular Spitfires are the same thing.
They shoot within 2" of 125gr field points at 30yds.
Plus, they have replacement blades so the body is reusable.

I shoot the Bass Pro Gator Expandables out of mine. They go on sale every year for $19.99 per 3 ($29.99 regular cost). They are basically generic 2 blade Rages and fly exactly like the field tips.

Any Muzzy fixed blade. Used the G5 T3 last year and had them open in flight. Missed a good buck because of that. Now using only fixed blades. They work just fine if you can shoot.

Rage 2-blade crossbow broadheads. I shot a deer last week, roughly 15 yards or so, and after impact (while deer's back legs were what appeared to be 8 ft off the ground) i could see the blood gushing four feet out of his side. Was completly satisfied after this first kill with these broadheads.
