At a bait site, I will set a Reconyx to take 3-5 pictures with a 1 or 2 second picture delay, and a trigger delay of 5 minutes. With black-flash, deer will stay at a bait site for a much longer timeframe than with a visible flash camera, hence a 5 minute trigger delay is not too long (often deer stay at the bait for 45 minutes or more).
For trails, I usually set a 5 picture trigger as fast as the camera can take them, with a 2 minute trigger delay.
For scrapes, I use a 5 image trigger as fast as the camera can take them, with only a 30 second delay. You can't have too many pictures of a good buck working a scrape!
