I've been meaning to post this link for several days, but just getting around to it (not sure how much help it is now that most of you have your cams deployed). I ran across this advice few weeks back on the GON Forum that I frequent and thought you Reconyx owners would like to know about it sooner rather than later.
Here is the gist of it all, and I quote:
"If your cam has one bulb in the array that goes out, it will knock out that whole line in the array. Thus, your illumination will not be as it should. To check, use either a camera phone or a digital camera with a display. With view screen on and looking at array of Reconyx, turn Reconyx on and you will be able to see the array illuminate and check full illumination. Can switch Reconyx on and off slowly to keep checking. Then you will know if your cam array is fully functional.
Reconyx is now offering an upgrade to the array that will give an additional 20' of illumination to the cam. Price is $50. Obtain RA# through email, ship, they will upgrade, and notify you when complete. Then pay through link on email or over phone when they email/call to say work is complete. Genarally ships back to you same day of payment."
