How do you go about registering a turkey in the record books? Last year I killed a double beard with a 10.5 and a 5.5 beard 1 1/4 spurs 27.5 lbs , 8 days later I took a triple beard with a 10.75 and two 7.5 beards 1 3/8 spurs and 29 lbs. Would either one of these birds or both make it into a record book of any kind? Is there such a thing?

what scales did you put those birds on?Not saying they weren't that big but turkey that size are rare.they would be scored as non typical if you enter them.Nice birds either way.Got any pics to post?

Yes I do have pics but dont know how to post them. I weighed them on the scales at the local check in station too. I also wieghed them when I got home on the digital fish scale. If I had a scanner id scan the pics and email them to some on to post.I will send you a pic on my phone if you need justice that bad. Ihave both mounted on limbs gobbling at each other.

calm down man.I just asked about the weight because some scales are off and some don't realize it.I asked if you had pics because I wanted to look at the double beards.

take a breath and relax. Its ok.

Oh wasnt gettin worked up or nothin is there any way to post pics w/o a photobucket account or somethin like that? Is there a way to copy and paste them or anything?

I'm not sure.I know you can send them to someone else to post but I don't know how they do it.Someone will know how that reads it.I don't even know how to scan old photos to post.Wish I did.
