Recruiting: Notre Dame brings 18-wheeler to wake up five-sta

Re: Recruiting: Notre Dame brings 18-wheeler to wake up five

ND has been going all out to land Robertson. If they don't get him, it won't be for lack of effort. It will be a big recruiting win if they can pull him out of Georgia, although I'll believe it when I see it. Alabama and Georgia want him badly. Based on what I've read, he might not make a final decision until after national signing day.

Irish should land him easy. They haven't lost a game in years.

Re: Recruiting: Notre Dame brings 18-wheeler to wake up five

Really?? Vandy hasn't ever had a five star recruit. EVER! As far as I know.

Vermin, you don't think he would go play for saban do you?

Re: Recruiting: Notre Dame brings 18-wheeler to wake up five

Like I said, I'll believe he's going to ND when I see it. Pulling these kind of players out of SEC country is extremely difficult. He probably has SEC bag men camped out on his street. I would never count the Dark Lord out and wouldn't count Kirby Smart out, either. However, Kirby has another big battle on his hands...

Dude will go to Bama. Where he will get a ring. Not a technical win.

Mudbone! Please don't go over to the Dark Side. "Where he will get a ring"? Yes likely, but you must resist the Bammer temptation. As the song goes, "I held the hand of the Devil, it was warm in the night, I was cold as a stone. . ."

"Notre Dame may have committed an NCAA secondary violation on Thursday by parking one of the school's 18-wheeler equipment trucks outside of recruit Demetris Robertson's house on Thursday morning"

If it is a violation, ND would probably not be able to sign this kid since a violation occurred. That's pretty much a standard practice.

From the same article:
If it is an NCAA secondary violation, it would not prohibit Robertson, the top-rated player in Georgia, from signing with the Irish. :tu:

Hmmm... Where is Free Shoes University in the quest for Robertson?

Lol!! It's hilarious to see the amateurs get themselves in trouble when trying to keep up with the professionals the recruiting trail.
