I want to get into traditional bow hunting. I would greatly appreciate some recurve bow suggestions that would be good for hunting. Since I am just starting out, the ideal price range is two to four hundred dollars. Thanks

first you have a ton of choices. not all recurves or longbows are made alike. my first suggestion is to try to find someone in your area that is a trad shooter to help guide you. you can visit trad only sites to locate some of these folks. tradgang, tradrag,or the leatherwall at the bowsite.com site http://leatherwall.bowsite.com/tf/lw/threadsx2.cfm

keep in mind you first want a comfortable draw weight bow. most common mistake is to order on at your compound draw weight. start off 40-45#.
next is to figure out your aiming process. this is a trail and error process. this is not cut and dried as a compound.
my biggest problem is I 'over think' the whole thing. main thing is to chill out and have fun. that is when it falls in place.
