Well I am not going to disagree with bsl. I have heard alot of people say those things. I think it all has to do with shooting style.
FOR ME!!!, it is all an accuracy issue. A red-dot sight or a scope gives me better accuracy. So with that being said...
I have no cheek or recoil issues with a red-dot , but a scope hitting my eye brow will never happen again. so red-dot
I have never had issues with a battery, Turn it on when needed, hasn't affected my hunting style. But also remember to turn it off. I look at it as the safety. It is always off till a bird is near.
Rain and fog days,,, I put the flip-up caps on.
Oh and I like propoints. I like the looks of them and they have always worked for me.
