What's a good one? I know a lot will recommend the Burris but I can't justify the price right now.

Mueller Quick shot is a good option in the $100 and under range but as you know the Burris FF3 is beyond worth it's cost in the long run.

I agree with the Bushnell trophy. Mine came with a screw on sun shade that makes the dot easy to see in midday on the lower settings. I left mine on one summer to see how long the battery would last. It lasted about 2 months

I have a b.s.a red dot scope on my shot gun. i got it from cabelas for 20 bucks. It has killed many turkeys , and has never let me down.

I know you were expecting this but Burris FF3 is what I recommend. You get what you pay for. If you can, save up for it or catch Basspro when they're having the 6-payment deal running.

Well, I never really said I thought it was to high. It's probably worth the money. I just don't think it would be responsible of me to spend the money for one right now.

FF3 has a battery life of like 10k hours or something crazy like that. I replace mine each spring and never give a 2nd though to it. Most all of them auto shut off if left on anyways these days to save battery life

Not trying to hijack your thread Airman. What would you guys recommend for around $125 dollar range? My reflex style broke and I plan on picking up a new red dot myself.
