How many of you use em?

What brand have you had the best luck with?

I honestly have always been against them simply because I thought it would be hard to get on a bird that had busted you and was running or flying off but after my pitiful fall season and missing 3 different hens, I honetly think a red dot couldn't hurt me at all, it will helo me concentrate on my target I aint gonna lie I have a tendancy to not get as far down on the rib as I should to make the shot count I guess I jus get tore up?

Have you shot your gun off of a rest to check your POA with the factory bead? If you havent you might ought to consider it. If you shoot a big 30"x30" you will be able to tell more about your pattern. Sometimes a new choke or load can move your POI enough to miss a turkey.

I like them. For me it eliminates one thing you have to line up when shooting. Instead of having to get the rear sight, front sight, and turkey all lined up just put the dot on him and shoot.

I got a Tasco red dot on a Mossberg 835. So far it has held up for several years and I really like it.

I use a Nikon Red Dot on my 12 gauge when hunting out of a blind and open sights on my 20 for run & gun. I don't think red dots are any big advantage, just another toy.

I'm thinking about the Tru Glo Turkey Dot its like $100?

Looks good!

Save that $100 for formula or diapers :D.
I suggest checking your pattern like was said in a previous post. If you have changed chokes or using different loads it makes a huge difference. I checked mine last year when I got a new choke and it was a lot different.

You'd be suprised to know how many good reviews Tasco gets. Because of their price range most folks think they are of cheap quality but FOR the money they are said to be one of the best.

I got the longer model....I wish I could remember how long ago I got it. With that said...If it can ride that kicking ()(*%)&*%er for that long with no problems it gets my vote..lol

Picked it up today, didnt cost $100 either  lets jus say I was well taken care of!
