Looking to hear from some reezen owners ...i went and shot it today and loved it....i shot the monster too...both are super fast...but the monster just felt weird in my hands...im thinking of getting the reezen and would love to hear from people who have one...now remember i am moving up from an Mathews FX so...its a big jump...

thanks in advance

I have a Reezen 7.0 and I've been extremely satisfied with mine. I bought a Monster when they first came out & ended up trading it for this Reezen. The Reezen is a tack-driver for sure.

I just bought a 6.5 less than a week ago, after nearly 10 years of using a MQ1. It is shooting fine for me. It took a little adjusting for me to get used to the draw cycle but it am comfortable with it now.

why did you buy the 7.0 over the 6.5?

I don't care that much about the extra speed you get with .5" less brace height. I'd rather have more forgiveness. Also, the draw is a tad smoother with the 7.0 versus the 6.5.

I shot it. I liked how it felt in hand. The draw cyle to me felt like it had a significant "hump" before falling into the valley. And the back wall was mushy. thats my 2 cents

i still prefer my DXT over any of the new models! This will be the first season in 7 years where I won't get the newest latest greatest. I LOVE my dxt and i can consistently make my fletchings touch at 75 yards with no problem! I have never been attached to a bow like I have this one!

Phil Long only stocks the 6.5....so i dont even know where i can shoot the 7....
again i am making a big jump from the FX i have....to me anything is better...lol...

I got the 6.5 and love it! Didnt think id replace my Switchback XT til i went and shot one. It was a little different draw cycle but it didnt take long to get used to. Ive shot mine for a couple months now and it is a tack driver!

Thats why I havent gone to shoot any new bows. I have the Switchback XT and I love it! I dont want to cheat on her with a newer one :D . Id rather just keep my money for something else when I love what I already have.

I have a Reezen 7.0 and compared to the 6.5, the 7.0 felt better and more stable in my hands. I would recommend that you make sure if you get the Reezen that it comes with the improved harder compound string suppressors that are beside the cams. The first ones that came out are made out of a softer compound rubber that will get eaten up by the string. I called Mathews tech and they sent me the new harder compound ones out and everything is great now. Other than that I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend the Reezen to anyone.

What you got your rigged with Ryan??
Ive got a HHA Sports Optimizer Lite 5500, LimbSaver Hunter Modular Stabilizer, Whiskerbiscuit Pro, Dead End String Stop

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Mathews will release a Reezen 6.5LD version this year in an ATA of ~37". That would be a perfect 3D bow for me. I don't think I'd hunt with a 6.5" brace height though.

3rdTripper - I grew up in DeRidder; my folks are still there. How long are you stationed there? I plan to get home around the holidays. Maybe we can hook up and shoot a few arrows at targets or hogs.

I have the FX model also and have looked into the Reezen and I liked the 7.0 better. But am leaning towards a Drenlin a buddy has
