I have a bolt 223 and a AR.
The load for the bolt is 25 gr of H335 hiding behind a Nosler 60 gr Partition. I purchased more than a few of these way back and we have shot them through the AR, they are accurate. The Bolt is drilling 5 through one raggedy hole, A Savage Axis hooked to a Weaver Kaspa. I use the same 25 gr of H335 for the 55 and 60 gr bullets
A lot of the cheaper ammo is steel case. I hate that stuff.
$23.00 Pound of H335 loads near 280 rounds means >10 cents...Primers were 3+ cents, Brass was once fired I bought in 1500 quantities I think 9 cents each, 55 gr FMJBT Hornady or Armscor at >9 cents each. Cost is good, but the cost is not what drives me.
I like my hobby. I like to know I made that round and it went right where I told it to and it did a good job.
