I have a Browning ABolt 7mm-08, haven't reloaded for it before but will have handloads before next season. I like using Barnes tsx bullets, not a ballistic fan even if they are accurate. Let me hear what you guys are shooting in your 7mm-08

I did not find the 120 TTSX to be as accurate as the 120 NBT's but Surprise, the 140's in almost anything are very accurate. If you shoot the 120's give a good look at RL15.

I like the 140g BTs in my 708 rifle and pistol both.

I used the 120 BTs downloaded to 2200fps for the kids before I bought a blackout.

The 120BTs are crazy tough bullets due to their thicker jacket than other BTs

A friend of mine shoots the 130 grain Speer Hot Core in his 7-08 and has been for years with good success. He has shot Speer bullets for years. They say the Hot Core is a very good bullet, I have never shot them.

Nice.

I ordered a box Of 100 I think?

I am hoping to try my hand at reloading. I have about 60 rounds of brass, primers, a couple different powders.

Just no way to clean brass yet?

Thank you

This is excellent advice. Stop here.

I use the 120ttsx and 44-45 grains of RL-15. CCI 200 or Fed 210. Lapua brass.

44.0 gets me 3,050 FPS out of a 22" barrel.
I have some 120 ttsx coming, have rl15, have lapua brass, have varget also.
This is good starting point, appreciate all the help, I know every rifle is different but have a good idea of what to try, thanks again

Clean the brass by hand. Soap hot water, bottle brush. Scrup scrub scrub, rinse well, place in sun to dry.

You have a scale of some kind?

SPS has 120 NBT in stock You best be quick about it
