Cleaned up the garage yesterday, moved a few things around and found my reloading/casting bench.

I prefer the casting with the bottom pour over ladeling. I usually cast with two, 2 cavity molds at the same time and it keeps the mold temp just right and you can watch the pile of boolits grow as you are dropping them...LOL.

It was easier to ladle pour until I got the "feel" for the lever on the bottom pour. Partial fills and massive overfills went away once I got it tuned into my casting speed but you have to constantly adjust the flow as the pot empties.

Waitin on a 4 cavity mold, will have to see how that goes.

Looks good. Do you use any ventilation?

I usually use a small fan to draw the fumes away from me.

I do most of the casting when its a bit cooler so I have a small heater fan I put on the bench. If its warm enough, the garage door will be open.
