Reloading data

I own 8 books and use them. If I see something on the web and think I want to try it I will look a book to see if I think it is safe. I use Hornady and Sierra the most.

The books are around $30 each, so I'm just wondering which one(s) to get?

Does anyone belong to LoadData.com? Is it trustworthy and worth the membership fee?

I would suggest getting a manual of whatever bullet you wanna use. That may not be feasible if you use a variety like most of us. If I had to get one manual I would get a lyman. Don't have one but have looked thru one. Tons of info.

$30.00 is cheap considering what can happen. When you see a blown up gun you will know what I mean. Each manual seems to have good reloading info that I don't seen on the web.

one book one caliber all bullet and powder manufacturers reloading info

6-8 bucks

X2. I also have several (older) Lyman and Hornady manuals, and use data.hodgdon.com a lot, but their max loads are definitely MAX. Nosler has good manuals, as well. $30 is expansive, but if you look around you should be able to find some fairly recent used manuals for a good price on ebay or amazon.

I love to reload, I just haven't had time lately to do any of it (or much of anything else for that matter).

Same here, I have three different manuals, but have added a few of these for the more popular calibers I shoot. I always cross reference between all of them to confirm load data.

I have several Nosler manuals plus i download and place in folders specific caliber/powder loads from the various manufacturers.

For example, I picked up a NIB 300WSM Thompson Center Venture. I am gathering components and that includes various pieces of reload info. I swiped a folder from my Wife's stash of school supplies and labeled it 300 WSM. Inside I will put pictures, receipts, serial numbers, prices, targets, load data, everything connected to that rifle.

http://www.imrpowder.com/

This has loads for all IMR and Hogdon powders developed by the powder manufacturers themselves. Who is better qualified to publish loads? I am leery of random internet sources. Especially coming from an individual - tread lightly - or do as I do and NEVER use a load recommended by an individual unless you compare it to the above website or an honest to goodness Loading Manual.
