I am planning on getting into reloading and would like to get some input on what is the best brand starter kit and anything else I will need not included in a kit. Also I have read alot that the majority of people like digital scales better and if so which digital scales are the best. I plan on loading for 30 06, 30 30, 243, 44 mag and only loading for hunting accuracy.

I have recently started using a Lee Turret press. It has worked well for me in loading over 2500 rounds (not many at all). Reasoning for buying the Lee...Price. Many will speak bad of Lee, many will having nothing but praise for Lee.

You are not loading for any semi auto pistols/rifles so a single stage press would be my recommendation. If you are loading in large volumes a turret press is a good idea. The Lee turret press can also be used as a single stage press.

Basics beyond the press and dies are the scale. Digital scales are quick and easy to use but not as accurate as beam scales. For hunting and general shooting, this may not be a concern.
I have a Frankford Arsenal scale which is working fine for me. It can be off up to .02 grain.

Next thing you will want is a powder trickler for dropping those few hundreths of a grain of powder into your measuring pan.

Other things you will want to get are loading blocks and powder funnel, calipers and neck trimmer/deburrer. I have not had to trim any brass yet but all of my brass has not been fired more than twice and I am not shooting for 1/2 moa accuracy.

Thnaks for all of your input on what reloader to get. I made my decision last night and ordered a rcbs rock chucker supreme kit from cabelas.

I do like RCBS but I feel the best deal for a Kit is one of the Lymans reason Case Trimmer comes with theres.
