Looking at getting a progressive reloaded and looking at RCBS. and a dillion. 550. Which one would be the better of the 2? Any of you have one or both that would share the pros.or Cons. Of either?

Dillon has the lifetime guarantee. If it breaks, the fix it.

Nothing necessarily wrong with the RCBS but the Dillon machines are on a totally different level. Like was said earlier, the warranty is an unconditional, 100% lifetime guarantee. The couple of times I've had an issue (all of which were my fault) and I've called to get a diagnosis and order replacement parts, they haven't let me pay for them and have sent them right out.

I'd go with a 650 over a 550 for sure and definitely get the casefeeder. I've been running one for years and I love it. The point of a progressive press is kicking out a lot of ammo quickly and efficiently, the 650 with a casefeeder is worth the money over a 550 for pure production.

If you decide to sell your Dillon setup 15yrs down the road, you'll get 75% of your original outlay back. Don't believe that, check out eBay.
