Reloading Question

I'm new to reloading and my only experience is using the manual Lee loaders. Question is, what would be the best book,media,etc that would be a helpful resource for me to get started? I would like something that would cover how to set up the press,dies and so forth.I imagine there are alot of guys on here that reload and I was trying to figure what is the best way to get started.Thanks ahead of time for your help.
 
When I first bought my reloading kit, it literally sit in the box for about 3 months, I took the Lyman manual out of it, read it, read it again, went online and read, read some more, watched videos on youtube and bought a Nosler manual and read it. I was little nervous about that first shot, but truly enjoy every minute of it now. My Lyman manual came with the master reloading set I bought and had a lot of good info in it, but definitely check out some youtube vids as well.
 
Lyman or Hornady manuals have always been good resources with step-by-step instructions. The video and Youtube recommendations are good. Try to find a real-life reloading "mentor" that you can look over their shoulder and they can walk you through things.
 
And never ever ever be afraid to ask a question.

I have 32 separate rounds to unload because we THINK the powder scale was not set to zero. I am so in love with my fingers, nose, eyes. This is one great hobby and for sure a mentor is one of the best ways to get started. For me, my BNL to be was my mentor and Nosler/Lee/Lyman did the rest.

Never assume...............when in doubt, dump it out!!! start over. Be 100% sure of the process.

There are several reloading sites on the net. just get on there and read. The first piece of advise that I would give anyone is to start with the minimum powder load and work up in 1gr increments. This will allow you to see what your rifle likes. Each rifle will perform differently than the next. I loaded rounds for a big weatherby this summer that should have been around 3400 fps in the book and they were running 3650 out of my muzzle. They shot awful and it took me alot of time and effort to figure out why my rifle was shooting so poorly. It was not until I set up on a good Chrony that I could see the problem. Check Hogdgon's site for good data.
 
Sierra manuals are the best. Good pictures and excellent descriptions...if you need more a simple phone call will help digest anything hard to understand
