Reloading ?

RCBS rock chucker kit. Bought it as my first 15 years ago, still using the same press, never felt the need to upgrade.

Now over the years I have replaced the scale and manual trickler with a PACT digital scale and automatic trickler... that thing is the schnizzle!!!

I probably only load a couple hundred rounds a year, depending if I have a new rifle, but my Lee Aniversay Kit is still going strong after 15 years. I've used it on .270 WIN, .308 WIN, 30-30 Win, 30-06, and 260 REM. It would definately be slow for loading handgun ammo, though.

I posted the same question about a month ago and took the majority of opinions and decided on the RCBS Rockchucker. I am just starting to use mine, but love it so far!

RCBS has a great warranty! They will send you replacement parts for free just takes a phone call! I also have Lee, Redding and Lyman equipment. I have found them all to work well but RCBS seems to service the customer the best.

Anything but LEE. You tend to get what you pay for. You know if a compay doesn't think enough to warrenty their stuff past 2 years - that should tell you something.

Hornady has a quick-change feature, RCBS is a "can't really improve upon classic". I favor a turret press like Redding's (like the press - not the company) or RCBS (like the company but have the press and it is hard to mount but sweet to use).

In a single stage press, look at Lyman Crusher 2. nice press and the frame is offset and is a 4" stroke/cast iron press. I don't know if I have seen it in a "kit" though.
