What is the difference between extra full an super full chokes? Also which would you recommend for turkey hunting. It will be for an 870 w/ 28" barrel. Thanks.

Super full is tighter than an extra full...... As stick said, you need to shoot them to paper and see which gives you the better pattern @ say 40 yards.

I think the super-full is .665 and the extra-full is .687. They have a tighter factory choke tube "the ventalator" it is ported and has a .655 constriction.
I've had good luck with the .665 and the.655 chokes. If it were me, I'd start with the .665. They are usually the recomended starting point for Remington shotguns.
I'd also "deep clean" the barrel, you will find that on oldgobbler.com.

Definitely deep clean the barrel. If you want a better choke the Jellyhead .660 or .665 are money in an 870. The Hevishot choke is a .662 I believe and hard to beat also.

All depends on the shell and your preferred range. There are a huge number of 870 guys shooting Hevishot through Jellyheads.
