Well went coyote hunting this morning out at my spot in Smith County. I was in the same spot as the video and pics I have posted on here from last year with all the birds. Well seems there may be MORE of them this year however this morning they were in the field on the other side which is fine because when they start to split they will be all over my normal field spot.
The Hens were all still in a HUGE flock and so were the gobblers but they were all roosted next to each other and flew down together. Plenty of gobbling and excited hen calls to listen to but it was obvious they are still in winter flocks but also a good sign they are starting to get closer to each other and mixing together when they fly down. All in all there was approx 200 birds in this flock when they hit the dirt. It was fun to watch!
Oh and heck no didnt see or get to shoot a yote!
