Reverse Draw Crossbows

Has anyone shot / hunted with one? I'm planning to start crossbow hunting (already do about every other hunting form except throwing spears at hogs down in Alabama, LOL). Anyway, the short axle to axle reverse draw crossbows have my attention, but I'd like some advice before making a bad selection.

I have the scorpyd and its balance, speed, easy to chocolate chip cookie is way above the Excalibur that I owned. The after shock from the Excalibur was unreal and the scorpyd is like the first compound bows. Shoot both then decide
