Rick Barns has been let go from Texas. If UT can cough up the money he will be the one to go after. Right now he's the best one without a team. The next two week will see all the coaches who are looking for a job but right now he's the one and some smart school better grip him.
 
^^^ even if he only coaches 4 or 5 seasons he will have coached longer at UT then the last Two UT basketball coaches combined lol so go for it what does the UT basketball team have to lose?
 
The real reason he was let go at Texas,the AD told Barnes he was gonna have to fire some assistant coaches but he would keep his job.Barnes told the AD it was his fault and not the assistant coaches,he was not gonna fire them so they let Barnes go.I see one thing,he will sure not put any blame on his assistants and he has had Texas in the NCAA tourney 16 out of 17 years!Tennessee struck a gold mine when Barnes became avaliable!

Tyndall would still be there if He to was not in trouble with the NCAA?? Over stuff that happened before he came to UT.

Dooley really lol??? He is back to coaching receivers lol

And conzo?? Was not a good coach they was a reason everyone wanted him gone before he went to the sweet 16, he lost many many many games against teams he should have beat. He ran off to CAL and won 18 games went 7-11 in conference and at one point lost 6 games in a row wow go conzo

You must be new at trash talking... Not a single coach on this list was ran off by TN fans. But I would like to see the rest of your list you are talking about please. And I HATE TN sports but you probably should delete your post on this one. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:
 
oh yeah, in one way or the other they were ran off.....If they had been happy they would of stayed!!!!! Pearl may of been the exception but I guess the expectations were so high, he had to resort to cheating..... :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :smash:
 
Eddie Sutton(fired for cheating), Tubby Smith(fans ran him off), Billy Gillespie(fire, sued UK, settled out of court for $3 million)

yup your right 2 were ran off by the Ncaa lol one Ran myself right to USC were he got fired and he now sets on the sidelines holding Saban's coffie, outta the guys you named 2 were ran off by Tennessee because they could not coach lol conzo and Dooley.
