Spent some time last night and will again tonight reloading for the opener. I loaded up a few more of the 140gr BT's for the 7-08 rifle, and tonight I'll prepare a few more of the 200 AB's for the 300 RUM.

This year I believe I'll bring 4 guns to TN: My 300 RUM, my 7WSM, my 7-08 rifle, and my 7-08 encore pistol. It's going to be a fun week!

I did that myself yesterday lol I have some 140 SST's ready for the .260, 180 Accubonds for the .308, and 150 Ballistics tip for the 7mmRM

Rutherford and Bedford counties mainly, but I've got permission to hunt on around 1000 acres total in Dickson county as well. I have been known to hunt in Houston and Humphreys county on occasion at times also! I've actually spent several hunts on the property next to BSK, but it's just got too many trees for my personal tastes.

Right now I'm trying to find someone who wants some deer meat. After my 4 days ML hunting, I realized I need to take a minimum of 12 more does off the main farms. I'll probably pass on the does Sat and Sun, but come Monday it's just not going to be pretty.

Sweet deal! Hope you get to use all 4 rifles. I've got several ready to rock myself. The 7STW gets the first call. From there who knows. Probably the .300RUM and then my baby, the .300WSM

Can't wait.

LOL :D, you guys are as bad as I am. I spent Sunday playing and tuning:

Model 700 BDL 7mm Rem Mag Magnaported (wife shoots it)
Model 700 SS .280 Rem
M-24 7.62
and my baby, Custom Shop Model 700P LTR in .300 RSAUM

this is my first year reloading i rolled up 29 / 150 grn ballistic tips for my 7mag. hopefully they'll be 25 leftcome the end of deer season . :)

mega,
Have you considered going to fully automatic? LOL

I've been known to slap a 20 rounder in when I was younger, but it was set on semi-auto :) I did actually manage to shoot a single deer 5 times before he fell, though.

Honestly, now, it's a very rare thing for me to even cycle the bolt after the shot. The majority with a rifle are DRT.
