But I know where I will be in the morning.....I was lucky to find the flock around 5pm. I stayed a safe distance back and glassed.....several toms....chasing each other all over the field. When they finally settled down I watched where they left the field....and then I circled back around hoping to figure out exactly where the toms were roosted. I was able to get within 50 yards of the group, sounded like 5-6 toms. There was another group roosted about 400yds away. An owl fired them up. My plan is to put a strutting tom decoy right where he can be seen with a couple hens.....its worked before, hopefully it will work again.
