The play in the 4th qtr where the SC running back broke out for a long TD, TN only had 10 defenders on the field. Kurt Maggitt came out of the game the play before to get his ankle taped up and evidently nobody knew it until after the fact. The trainer got chewed out and then the D coordinator got it because he should have caught it and adjusted or called time out.

Spurrier has one... Both "D" coaches gave up over 600 yards. I the total offense for the hat game was like 1270 yards.

TN had the D when it mattered. UT had like 4 or 5 sacks and SC had 0. And thats with a questionable offensive line.
Spurrier lost his marbles when he quit running Mike Davis on the speed option and Pharoh Cooper in the wildcat. TN had no answer for those two. Yet he left it in Dylan Thompsons hands and he cried like a baby.
To sum it up. The OBC got outcoached by Butch and himself.
