Opening morning was a pretty bad one for me, if anything could have went wrong it did. But I went right back to the woods after work and killed one right before roost with about 30 other birds in the flock.
Then this morning I went back and finally got on a bird that was headed my way.... and 3 shots ring off right where he was gobbling. Some trespasser either killed him, or hopefully missed. Lets just say, it was a really frustrating weekend, especially today. But Im glad I was able to kill one for the weekend.
