Alarm clock goes off this morning and I was Draggin Arse trying to brave the weather....dad called, "What you wanna do?" I think I'm going to lay in the bed! Dad-Ok I might go anyways, phonecall ends....SPITS mind goes WAKE UP BOY you can't kill em laying beside that Beautiful Wife of Yours????

Heard 2 gobble 1 time, they are locked up tighter than anything I have ever seen down there????

I have hunted that piece of land for 5 years now and never was a thing to go and it be like a buffet, always heard atleast 5-6-7 birds hammering????

Weather musta played a toll on em???? :crazy:
 
Yep, only bird I heard was 5 min. before you texted me.

End of season last year I heard 12. Juvie I heard 1 and called up one in an hour and this was at 11:00. They are there, just the wind and cold shut'em down.
 
Same with my morning. They roosted next door. Heard 3 gobbles at 6:30. 1 gobble at 7:30 then dead silence, except for the 25 mph winds. :crazy:. Saw nothing in the fields on the way out.
