Rubber Bands for Broadheads

What do ya'll use and where can you get them. I asked in Bass Pro and they said they do not carry them.
 
Judging by your signature I would email Trophy Ridge. I shoot muzzy's so I don't know about rubber bands. I didn't see them on tr's website.
 
i shoot meatseekers too, and i used no lie the little bands from a cousins braces. boy was her momma mad when she realized it thanksgiving last year lol
 
Do not use orthodontist bands! I have shot these broadheads with and without the provided bands. Completely different entry wound. I lucked up and got 30 extra bands on a purchase A.T. Have 9 heads and all those bands if u want them. $60

i use the bands of ebay they are 6 bucks for a 100 and they work great you just have to get the small ortho bands that are recomended for the meat seekers if you get the bigger ones no they wont work right

Do they not seem tighter and thicker than the factory ones?

they are lighter but still keep them closed and require less energy to open them
 
Contact the company that makes the broadheads , and they should have the proper replacement o rings for them . Never compromise and try to save a few cents when it comes to broadheads and replacement components . Like khawk said , some may be thicker and might be harder for the blades to open .
