Rubber boots

First off i hate em but i wear them after a rain when the tall grass is wet. My 6 yr old pair of alpha burly sole is coming off. Where is cheapest place i can get a pair. Dont care what kind. Did i say i hate em but they are lucky now that i think about it.

I bought a pair of Mucks from gator-n-buck last year and they are perfect for turkey hunting.

Get a good pair of light leather boots and spray them with camp-dry. They are so much more comfortable and are waterproof enought for normal hunting unless you hunt swampland.

I tried this last year except the grass I walked through had my pants soaked almost to the knee. Feet dry, sock and pants-not so much.
It is the tall wet grass that gets me in the Spring.

go to yahoo and do a search of lacrosse grange.. there is a website offering these boots for 57.00..i think 10.00 shipping. they are out of size 11.. grange boots are great uninsulated boots.

Got some at Academy Sports a few years back for $49 after deer season.Off brand,but full mossy oak and they wear good.

FYI - The Superlite boots are being discontinued. A Muck Boots rep told me they were having some problems with the manufacturer but she did not elaborate as to exactly what the problem was. Just making you aware. Their website has been taken offline as well. http://superliteboots.com/
