rust

took my bow out a couple of weeks ago in the rain wiped down the cams with a clothe when I got back. Just pulled her out to fling a few and noticed a few rust spots on just the set screws my question is why not any rust on the actual cams and how to properly prevent this in the future should I stay away from oils and lubricants?

Aluminum cams don't rust

I use a Q-tip with oil on it and touch the screw heads.

I rub string wax on my screws.
