Rut activity in Smith County Tn

Anyone been hunting in Smith County this week? If so, what type of rut activity is going on out there? HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARINES AS WELL! SEMPER FI!

Don't hunt Smith County, but I think it is starting to ramp up. will just depend on what is happening in the area you are hunting.

When used to hunt my place up there it was always peaking around thanksgiving. Muzzleloader usually had bucks cruising some.

I'm still not seeing a lot of daylight movement from bucks, specifically mature bucks yet during daylight hours. I'm not seeing them together anymore and that change has come in the last week where I am at though. I started seeing what I suspect bucks bumping does last night for the first time this year though on camera though. I think that is the result from the night time temperatures starting to drop the last week.
