Saban hired an ex NFL coach

If Saban made the hire it's a home run!

What do these guys do? I know Butch was responsible for Saban's coffee, so who knows.

Is Dooley still there

Honestly, it looks like Saban is milking the university to cover some buddies until they reach retirement age. Oh well, suck em dry!

Whisenhunt replaces Drew Svoboda, who served as a senior special assistant to the head coach last season. Svoboda, who joined Alabama in 2021 as special teams coordinator and tight ends coach, left this offseason to serve as North Texas' special teams coordinator.
In addition to Aylward, Alabama on Wednesday also added John McNulty to its staff directory as an analyst, which was reported by On3 Sports last week. McNulty was Boston College's offensive coordinator last season and previously was Notre Dame's tight ends coach under Rees. He also has twice been Rutgers' offensive coordinator.

Alabama also now lists former safety HaHa Clinton-Dix as its director of player development, a role he revealed in December upon retiring from the NFL.

Time will tell. However, I would say his decisions regarding the Alabama football program over the last 15 years or so have been pretty good:)
Time will tell ur right. He was with the titans like 30 seconds so hopefully none of that losing rubbed off.

He wasn't a good HC went 3-20 with the titans. And wasn't good at Arizona.

He will do fine getting saban water, and getting screamed at when something goes wrong like it's his fault.

Why are yall so worried about Saban/Alabama? Yall declared the Bammer dynasty over in 2022 (and 2019, ans 2017 etc...)

Would this be considered a lateral move 🤔?

I'm pretty sure Georgia is the college football dynasty now. Seems like I heard they won back to back National Championships and haven't lost a game in 2 years.
I'm pretty sure u need to Google the definition of what a dynasty is. Having two good seasons of football does elevate someone to a dynasty. I do understand why vol fans are claiming a dynasty after beating ALABAMA this year. They just can't help it. Mental illness is to blame here .

I'm sure it's slipped your mind by know but is there any way you remember how many days it's been?

As a matter of fact I do. It's been 487 days since alabama has defeated little old TENNESSEE in football. But they are still the class of college football. Don't believe me? Ask your local neighborhood doofus.

Correction:

Butch Jones washed Saban's car.

Cedric has always been responsible for coffee and water(on the sidelines)going all the way back to Coach Bryant.

Dooley is still there as an analyst.

When has it ever been a bad idea to have a myriad of great football minds scheming how best to utilize a team's talent.

I wonder why UT doesn't have a lot of analysts?
