I really thought that there might be a good chance that he would hang it up had he won another championship.
With all of the "rat poison" stuff, his comments on his regrets for leaving LSU, the NIL, the portal, his "calmer" demeaner this season etc., all looked like someone who was ready to move on with the next chapter in his life.
But, I think that probably won't happen now, and would be shocked if he did. I don't think that his ego will allow it. To go from never losing to an assistant, to now losing to two different ones in the same season won't sit well with him.
I actually hopes he sticks around. He will always have weapons, but this wasn't his usual Bama o-line. And as they mentioned last night, the game is won at the line of scrimmage. Next year should be fun.
When do TX and OK come into the league? I think he bows out before that happens.
