Sometimes they were hit and miss towards the end.  You could count on their red beans and rice to always be good.  If you liked a creole based crawfish etouffee, it was good. I prefer a roux based etouffee.  Catfish was awesome depending on who was cooking it.  They made me like stewed okra which I never thought possible.  At thanksgiving and christmas, the would fry turkeys and later also did a cajun ham which was absolutely amazing and I am not a big fan of ham.  Service was always slow.  When they first came to Nashville, they were where Local Taco is now on Murphy Rd.  From there they moved to Tusculum area on Nolensville Rd next to the Barbie Cutie.  They then moved to Centennial Blvd and shared a building with a transmission shop and after that they moved to Charlotte.  Been to all of them.  Food was the same and service was always slow.  You just can't find good food in a filthy hole in the wall like you used to.
