can a 20 gauge savage shotgun use a FOSTER OR BRENNEKE 2 3/4 or 3 inch SLUGE shotshell to shoot a DEER?

Forster type slugs will work better through the choke. I would not shoot them through an extra full choke though. Might be hard on the barrel and also not as accurate.
