Went with my cousin again today who had knee surgery almost six weeks ago and had another awesome hunt. We pulled up at his farm at 8:15 and got our vests on and heard one gobble less than 100 yds from the truck. We slipped through the woods and got into position and apparently the bird heard us walking, he started gobbling his head off. Before my cousin got seated(takes him a while cause of his knee)I spotted him crest the hill. I made three soft yelps and scratched in the leaves and he nearly ran over us. Dead bird by 8:30. 1 1/8 spurs, 6 and 1.5 inch beards(had beard rot) and 21.5 lbs
