Saw a STRUTTER on my way to work

this morning! Now that will get you pumped up! Maybe tomorrow I'll try to stop and take a pic of him. He was with another longbeard and one hen.

I was in Greene Cty on Sunday and saw 5 different birds strutting with big groups of hens. Then heard a bird blowing the woods up all afternoon while we shot quail. Can't wait to get out of town this weekend, and start chasing them.

In Lincoln County this morning I saw a group of about 75 to 100 birds. All the hens were grouped together in the middle and around the outside there where about 15 birds all puffed up. They all were about 50 yards from the main group and all several yards away from each other. Like they had the hens surrounded on all sides. It made my day!!

Had 7 strutters on the side of a back road this morning and as i passed they all tripple gobbled!!

I also saw one blown up going to work yesterday.
