Man - I have a 3 or 4 year old Scout Guard - the first year a set of batteries lasted almost all year - now - seems like it's chewing up a set a week -

Anyone have any ideas ?

I know, new cam :)

Mine is chewing up batteries every couple of weeks as well, when it used to last about 4 months.

What is it doing to let you know the batteries are going bad? The way I can tell, is when I plug the remote up to it, the remote is just a plain blue screen, even though I put batteries in there a couple weeks pryor. But then when I put new batteries in it, the remote pops on just fine
