I tried screwing one of those bow holders into a tree next to my house and I cannot see how anybody has time to get that thing into the tree. Maybe it was the tree next to my house, but are they usually difficult to get into the tree?

Sometimes those things can be a pain. Some trees are easier than others to get them in, but making a starter hole helps.

i try wedging mine in between the bark if there is a good spot. I have the ezhanger with a long handle, so once i get it started its a breeze, but the little ones are kinda tough to keep turnin over though

there is one laying in the woods somewhere in morgan county after i threw the %$*^%$& as far as i could. tried for 10 minutes to get that thing screwed in. i just keep my bow in my lap.

I do something similar to stik. Since I use a API Grand Slam, I'll actually use the edge of the quiver and tuck in on the edge of the climber. Just enough pressure to hold it in place. Then if I stand to shoot, I've already got the bow in hand.

With the Summit Viper , you can just lay the bow across the front bar . Mount a quiver bracket on your stand and you are good to go .

I have a screw in bow holder, but do not use it but one or two times per/year. Depending on the kind of tree, it can be hard to get started.

Like several others have mentioned, I really prefer to keep the bow on my lap. In fact, I keep my release clipped to the loop about 25% of them time.

I may use my bow holder more this year!

Good to see you back UTGrad. I see you have a bow and treestand. Hope you have a great season!!!
