I changed from a 256MB card to a 8gb card. When I went to check my camera. It said there were 104 pictures. When I put the sd card in the adapter that plugs in the usb port it reads "please insert disk into E drive. I also tried to put the sd card in a digital camera and nothing comes up. Anybody ever had this problem?

Card is corrupted.

Here is how you can recover your pics. I've done this a couple of times myself. Works like a charm.

Thanks for the info. I tried this and when I went to recover the pics from the disk, it said it had no data on it. It is really weird. I put the card in a digital camera I have to try and take a picture, but the camera won't even allow me to take a picture. I put the other sd card back in the camera and it works fine. Really strange

Sorry bro. Wish it would have worked for you!

I've had the same problem. I won't go as far as to say it's not a bad card, but if I use a card reader on a computer it will not recognize my cards. But if I use a computer with an actual sd card slot, works fine. In my case it wasn't the card, but either my computer had a problem, the card reader didn't work, or a combination of the two. I bought a new laptop with an sd slot and haven't had a problem since.
