SEC channel tip!

If you're not able to get the Tn game today by searching the guide selection, type in the channel manually. Type in 611-1 by hand, using the "dash" button in the lower left corner of the remote.

I got it and the Bama on the SEC Network. They added a channel on Xfinity.

I had the same, showing on the guide with dtv, but it would show a screen that said I haven't ordered the channel. Then a good friend called and told me she called dtv when their full pkg wasn't showing it either, and they advised her to type it in manually, and that was the ticket, so to speak.

EPB added the alternate channel this week, so you can switch between SEC primary and alternate games, great deal.

I had to reset my receiver before it would open the channel. I was on the phone with Direct through the first half. Just getting to watch the game now.

It was down for many people. For quite a while DirecTV was not even allowing access to the channel. It was telling people the game was unavailable and they would have to subscribe. Their customer service people were even telling callers that the game had been blacked out by request of the SEC Network.

They screwed up and then lied about it.
