bama proud id be worried about OSU

Alabama will crush them. I worry more about FSU, but think Oregon would give Bama the biggest Challenge.

Re: SEC West on the ropes!

The SEC is still 4-3 in Bowls with
Auburn, Missouri, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida and maybe Alabama again to play if they make it past Ohio St.

Could still go 10-3 if the SEC wins out from here.

Re: SEC West on the ropes!

I fully expected the MISSissippi teams to have trouble in the bowl games...

Ole MISS was an offensive aberration all season, but had a good defense. Their QB was a loose cannon, and he went back to being his old self in the bowl game. TCU was far more motivated for this game, and are full of trick plays that Ole MISS was not ready for. TCU is REALLY good offensively and defensively.

I really thought that MISS State would be a better game, but I also know that GT is good. MISS State abandoned the run game early, tried too many cute plays, and missed far too many tackles and assignments on a well disciplined GT offense that actually has good talent for their offensive system this season (and will again for next). I didn't really think that MISS State would have gotten beaten so bad, or necessarily even beaten, but I thought that it would be a good game with high rushing totals.

West teams are looking bad, hope the east plays better than the west,at least South Carolina and Georiga won!

Re: SEC West on the ropes!

Find it rather odd so many didn't' remember someone saying Ole Miss and State will always be Ole Miss and State. Both having good seasons doesn't mean they're title contenders. The loss of Treadwell pretty much killed the Ole Miss offensive swagger. State isn't deep enough on defense. That said, I don't see anyone from the SEC East doing any better. Obviously, ND can be thrown in that category too.
