Crazy when coaches are whining about "fair". Which translates into give me guarantee season boosting wins.

Be happy you are playing. I am a Tennessee fan and we play Bama every year. You can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time.

Even though I dont like to admit it, this football season is just going to be different. Even if the full season just doesnt seem to be as important or exciting as in the past and hopefully what it will be in the future. Coaches and fans should just be happy to play. Even a national championship wont seem as big of a deal this year and is weakened. These coaches and fans of some of the less successful SEC teams should be glad if their schedule just got harder. To me this season will be just to get better for next year and the best way to do that is strengthening the schedule, line up, and play it. Bad teams the last few years like Tennessee who have recruited well will be stronger in the future during a normal year because of it.

Definitely gonna have to put a asterisk next to the So called national Champion this season . I don't care if it's ALABAMA winning . Without a full field it's not a National Championship. SEC Title should be it !

I think the coaches have a legitimate issue that the SEC just puts 2 games in your schedule without any input or explanation how they did it. If you are going to just play your conference there is no favoritism it ends up being what it is. Yes that may mean there are a few teams that may not win but one game or one that loses all them. That would suck for that team but you never know that bottom team could surprise us and beat AL :)

The point is/was if all u play is cupcakes u are never going to improve .

ALABAMA really improves when it gets into post season when they finally get matched up against worthy opponents that test them and strengthen them .
